I looked this one up on the Blogger Help site and they had a few options. Several people have already answered this question and have templates you can download. I won’t go over them here, but I will point you to where you need to go.
NOTE: It bears repeating: Before you mess around with your current template, BACK IT UP. Save it somewhere. Make sure you have a copy of it. You’ll save yourself a ton of frustration.

I asked Jules at “everyday design”, (who is designing a template for me!! Yay!!) about adding a third column, and she said there really aren’t any that work well. They limit how much you can customize.
I use a three column design at my other blog, One Mom’s View, but it is very feisty, and I can’t edit the header.
Why doesn’t Blogger get on the ball with this one?!
i just googled “3 column blogger template” and found many other options besides these. it took a while before i could find one that i could edit to my own specs, i wanted a pic to show up at the top and many of them wouldn’t do that. i have a tiny bit of html knowledge which helped! i can’t wait for blogger to support their own 3 col templates!!!!
