This week I’m starting a new feature at Blogging Basics 101 called Helpful Blogging Links (catchy, huh?). I have been hoarding links to interesting articles that I know will be of use to you and now I’m going to share them! They weren’t really doing anyone any good just sitting in my Clippings folder on my Bloglines, now were they? So here you are. The first installment of Helpful Blogging Links.
- Iweb Tools: How long does it take your site to load? (FYI: Two seconds is about the limit. Make adjustments as necessary.)
- The Junk Drawer: How to cope with the new Blogger comment sign-in fiasco

We are a pretty small blog but we do this a lot of time
Hi there — i got your link from emom. she thought you may have a suggestion for me.
3 days ago my blog (and my heart!) was accidently deleted. this blog contained nearly 600 posts.
ouch.
i’ve been told that there are people that have been through similar situations and have had their blogs restored. this can only happen IF i can talk to a human at blogger. something that is hard to do. i’ve sent emails, posted messages on the message board, and sent messages via their contact form but have not heard anything yet.
do you have any suggestions for me? thank you for your time.
I must confess, I know you have addressed (get it?) the idea of putting URLs in a comment before, but I have great motivation to learn this bit of linky goodness now. Dang Google/Blogger.
(I love Michelle’s search engine, btw. I keep her in my favorites bar all the time.)

Thanks! On Monday I posted about some blogging tips that you also might like–how to include pdf files, make graphics into links, that kind of thing.
